According to the shape, the head can be divided into:

Hemispherical head: This type of head has high strength, uniform force and material saving, but it is relatively difficult to manufacture, and is generally used for containers with higher pressure;

Oval head: good overall performance and relatively low manufacturing cost, is one of the most widely used types of head;

Butterfly head: the domestic processing of the butterfly head is generally 10% of the standard butterfly head, the same inner diameter and the same plate thickness conditions, 10% butterfly than the standard oval head cutting size is smaller, can save materials;

Conical head: the shell surface is conical shape, the special shape design can make the medium through the uniform change of speed, easy to unload viscous liquid and materials containing solid particles;

Flat-bottom head: The production process is simple and the cost is low, and the application is very wide.

According to different materials, the head can be divided into:

‌ stainless steel head ‌ : such as 304, 321, 304L, 316, 316L, 310S, 2205 double phase stainless steel seal;

‌ carbon steel head ‌ : including A3, 20#, Q235, Q345B, 16Mn and other materials can be used for the production of head;

Titanium head: TA1, TA2, TA3, TA10 and so on are common head processing materials;

Composite material head: The composite materials commonly used for the production of the head are 15Mo3, 15CrMoV, 35CrMoV, 45CrMo and so on.
